I have the ES2.2.2 in 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5+12 and I needed an 8mm spacer to clear the stock sport brakes. So, with the 8mm spacer, that brings my offset down to +14 and it looks very nice. If I could do it again, I would go with the +12 in the front and the 11" +15 in the rear. I think your first thoughts were spot on.
