offset question

My superlaps came in size 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +22. I see most people have +12 for the rears. Can I still use 295 or 305 tires for the rears

thanks guys. When I ordered the wheels, the guy who I ordered it from told me that +22 for the rears is the offset to go with for my car. I should have done some research before I placed the order. Do you think I should use 285 for the rears to be on the safe side?
