Hey Chii370, that was the reason for my original post. I know a lot of guys out there track their vehicles, and drive them hard on weekends through canyons. This Z isn't going to do any of that.
I wanted to know of a tire that would be good replacement, extend shelf life, and maybe sacrifice a little performance for a daily driver in a condition that experience NO SNOW and very little rain.
Overall that is a challenging thing to accomplish because all tires in this category are PERFORMANCE tires. Long tread life and performance are not in the same sentence in this statement. It is like saying "I want to buy a Harley that handles great?"
That doesn't exist! Appreciate the info.

The continentals do have a pretty good tread warrenty, (and the PSS were built with tread life in mind). I think the Conny DW is your best mix of performance/ ride/ tread life with a good price point. After the "W" mark wears off the tire is still good in the dry. It has the most comfy ride too.

So, the Continental DW seems like the clear winner for your application. (I would still go 285 in back though)

Question Tire mileage

The OEM Yokahamas on the rear of my wife's 370Z look like they will make it to about 20K miles before reaching the wear bars. The fronts could easily last another 5K miles.

I am leaning toward Michelin Primacy MXM4 to replace them because of their wear and quiet ratings Anyone have experience with them?

Thanks,

Rangercarol
