Okay I have looked at the pics of the 15mm with stock 275 rears and again the 20mm with 305/30 and tried to picture a 20mm with 275/35 or with a 285/35 and you are starting to convince me. What is holding me back is that on my previous 350Z I had a reputable shop that had done a lot of fender rolls and spacer installs for several car brands and they took measurements and flat out said 20 mm for the rear on stock rim and stock tire size. Well when all was installed they said Oh You Could Have Gone to 25mm with that camber. So you know where I am coming from. With the 25mm, they are bolt on type so I can sell them if they are too large. The 20mm are stud replacement type and they can only be used once. Take em off and you have to trash the studs and buy new studs at about $50 for a set. So if I go to small (20mm) then I am hosed on any resale if I want to go larger (25mm). Just the opposite if I start out large (25mm - bolt on type ) and they don’t fit or over extend past the wheel, further outside the wheel well than desired, they can be re-sold with out incurring any additional cost to the buyer. I have to pull the trigger soon before my super sale price expires with a vendor. I wish Mike had his wheels mounted back up. |

on another note, its really easy to get the lower sections of the car with an orbital buffer when its on jack stands!

You are missing something. STILLEN : H&R TRAK+ Wheel Spacers if you've been paying attention, its the same part number as the one for the 350z. Last edited by RCZ; 12-09-2009 at 04:44 PM. |

spacers Stillen's website is less than desirable (when searching for H&R spacers). Good in other areas. 1) They do not list the H&R under equipment/model/make of vehichle, even when using 350Z. 2) Your link still does not list any parts for the 370Z nor 350Z. Here is the return search from the above link on both the 350Z and 370Z. Even when selecting no vehicle and show all parts the return search only shows Ford and Scion. There are no parts available for your selected vehicle. Please select an alternate vehicle: It's all good, I can always call them if need be for a part check and price. ![]() Better yet shoot me a pm with your POC at Stillen and I will call. Question: So how do spacers affect the dynamics of the car . .say for tracking purposes? What are the pros and cons of spacers - at least on the ride and for tracking?
