Somewhere in these forums, I have seen a poster saying the 18" Enkei RPF-1 in nine or 10" fit well on his Sport Package 370Z. I'm not criticizing Mike--he is only reporting his actual, hands-on experience. But I am fairly certain I have read this here. I don't know if we have completely ruled out that wheel yet. It would be great if it fit: the 18X9.5 RPF weighs only 17.4 pounds (special version, but it's available). Weight is the enemy.

Did you figure anything with CCW?

Has anyone ever confirmed if we can fit the 18" Enkei RPF-1?

Reviving this thread,

I am looking for a 18x9.5 wheel that will fit F+R and can be rotated. NT03 would work but require a spacer to clear the akebonos, didn't know if anyone has used CCW and if they would clear.

Only a +15 will work front and rear without spacers. You could do the +38 or +45 also but front and rear will need spacers.

Yup, just checked my setup and its +15 offsets all around...

18 x 9.5 +15
18 x 10.5 +15

I just test fit a set of 18" RPF1s and it looks like they fit perfect. I got these off a 350 owner used. I can't remember the offsets but I'll double check and post up later.

Try Weds Sport, their design and weight should accomodate based on what you need even with bigger BBKs. It's one of the brands I considered if I go down to 18s.

I swear I thought my 18x10.5 +38 PF01 fit on the front... the only time I ran them on the track I did have a 10mm spacer on the front, but one of the studs snapped (isolated incident, not track related) and I test fit the front... I have to recheck this at some point.

I wouldn't think there would be a problem. But 10.5 is retarded on the front and this is a rpf1 thread. Pf01 are nothing alike and have no real merit, different wheel, design etc.

Unnecessarily large wheel width becuz racecar. Makes perfect sense to me. Hoping to throw wider tires on the front than the 275's I have now. But either way... Guess it's the wheel design that makes me fit then.

Race cars don't add unnecessary weight, especially when you can't add enough tire to use it. A 285 and 9.5" is race car. 10.5" is Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. You're getting nothing out of it and hurting performance. The opposite of race car.
SPOHN and ZeroZeta like this.

You're also being a douche. I was joking man, chill. Nothing was picked for cosmetic enhancement and the two pounds per side I would have lost with the 9.5 vs the 10.5 will not make any significant difference in performance especially since I am not racing professionally.

Isn’t strange that almost every real world test that Grass Roots Motorsports does ends up contradicting the heavy wheel = slower idea? GRM volume 28, #4, June 2011 (19.6 lbs wheel is faster and makes more horsepower than a 15.9 lbs wheel.WTF!)

Just my 2 cents. Now Discuss...

Maybe a flywheel effect?
