Test fit Enkei RPF1 in 18s :(

That's weird. DannyGT, if I remember correctly, is running 9.5" +22 in the front with a 265 tire. He said that with skinnier tires, like a 255, he'd have better clearance.

The +15 is only 7mm different, so I'd assume that such a small difference would be manageable in the grand scheme of things. Nothing a skinnier tire or some more negative camber in the front can't solve.

do you guys think the 18x9.5 ET15 would work with sport model 370s? I know OP said spoke clearance was an issue with his 18x9.5 ET38...do you guys think the ET15 version would have enough spoke clearance?

I think the +15s would stick outside the wheel wells. That would be equivalent to a 38mm spacer on stock wheels.

i know you said that it would stick out...but will it actually physically "fit" onto the brake caliper? i wouldn't mind having it sticking out a little...as long as it fits onto the brakes...i am fine

btw, does anybody know how much the stock sport wheels weigh? 19x9 and 19x10s....i can't find it anywhere

it should clear the caliper. If its the same width, but 15 instead of 38 offset, the backside of the hub would have to be deeper by 23mm, either that or it would have a wider lip, but that isn't the case. I was able to fit them with only a 15mm spacer.

thank you for the link...it looks like stock sport wheels are very light to begin with....i thought they weighed 29-30lbs like the older nismo 350z...so thats why i inquired about getting RPF1s....but it looks like at 23lbs, theres really no need to upgrade...

I agree. They are definitely light for stock wheels. Rays rocks!

i am just surprised the enkei rpf1 with 38 offset didn't fit the stock sport brakes.....the stock wheels are 47 offset right? must be some stupid *** spoke clearance

Was looking into the RPF1 for a track setup. Confused by the original post slightly, wouldn't a 18x9.5 +38 with a 15mm spacer make this basically a 18x9.5 +23 wheel? I'm running a 19x9.5 +22 setup right now up front so not sure why the above combo would make it stick out past the fenders.

my advan rs is 20.8lbs! haha, it casting too, not forged. enkei wheels are so light man. my friend's 350z has 17' on it, it weighs like 17lbs.lol

It looked to far for my comfort level. I didn't try the wheel with tires though. Maybe it would have worked, but the side of the car probably would have been peppered with rock chips from the stuff that R compunds throw out.

Yeah you make a good point. Do you know if 10mm spacers would have worked? I wonder if the new Enkei PF01 will fit.

Somewhere in these forums, I have seen a poster saying the 18" Enkei RPF-1 in nine or 10" fit well on his Sport Package 370Z. I'm not criticizing Mike--he is only reporting his actual, hands-on experience. But I am fairly certain I have read this here. I don't know if we have completely ruled out that wheel yet. It would be great if it fit: the 18X9.5 RPF weighs only 17.4 pounds (special version, but it's available). Weight is the enemy.
