That sucks! I had a similar thing happen, I went to the local auto parts store and picked up a perfect touch up match for the stock wheels. Try it

That sucks! I had a similar thing happen, I went to the local auto parts store and picked up a perfect touch up match for the stock wheels.
Try it before you give up:
Dupli-Color touch-up part # NG GM 508 (General Motors paint code WA 8867 "Ultra Silver") is a VERY close match for the bright silver paint used on late model painted Wheels.
