My 2013 sport package wheels are... peeling??

Any chance that is a protective coating for shipping? On cars.com there are 2 370z 13 Sports - 1 with a brighter finish on the wheel and then 1 with a darker finish. Im betting thats the difference. I hope its not actually a flaw. Im about to put an order for a Blue 13 Sport and will delay if there is a major flaw with these wheels.

hmmmmm, I'm not sure. But if it were, wouldn't the dealer remove it before the car was sold? I thought the wheels were a gunmetal color

but I guess it's not. Nissan fooled me.

I called the dealer earlier about it and they said they had no idea and just to bring the car in. I found a couple of minor peels on the other wheels too... So right now, I have 3 wheels with peels and 1 wheel that looks awesome.
