Does anyone actually do this on their Z?

How are some of you guys getting less than 10k out of the 050s??

I got my car brand new and have daily driven it since 2012 - I'm at 25k and counting on F/R with plenty of tread to go. I don't drive like a psycho but I don't drive like a pu$$y either... I've done one track day on them and one canyon run per month on average.

It just seems a little weird that people are getting such wildly different wear out of the OEM tires... Check your alignments fellas.

How many 32nds do you have on the inside rears? And factory calls for toe, maybe your alignment has none?

It was my understanding that the soft compound REO stock tires last apprxo 10-20K miles.

Not sure, I've never gotten it aligned since I bought it. I'll see how my tires are doing tomorrow; I have to change my oil so I'll get a chance to inspect everything. Either way, I want to go with something different than the 050s when it's time to replace. Probably S04s or RE11s if tire rack has a sale on them any time soon.

Geez I got 33k out of mine, and the fronts were okay. It was the rears that were flat. I did two autocross days on them and a lot of highway driving.

Kenchan, you'd be proud... I can't say the same about my R888's and RS3's. lol couple HPDE's on the R888's and broke the RS3's in with 45 autox runs just on Friday. They're wearing just a tad quicker =X
