Any mods to suspension or springs?

It's possible. So many factors are involved with tread life. Have you had an alignment recently?

my (deadler) mechanic put mine on the lift - took a quick look, and said "You take this baby on some curves"

inner tire wear comes from aggressive cornering also
(just about at 11,000 miles)

I wouldn't say that your wear is insanely premature but it is a BIT early... I have 18k on the stockers and they need replacement. Picking up some RE-11s next week.

I had 19,990 miles on my Bridgestsone Potenza RE-50s and the rear's were worn out. Front's were almost out at the time. The RE-50s are good for handling but have shitty tread life (140AA).

The RE-11s are better tires with a 180AAA rating.

For me, I swapped my RE50's with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (Ultra High Performance All-Season) tires. I have had a little over 20,000 miles on these tires and they are amazing. Still going strong and looking to get another 20k out of em [hopefully ]. The tread rating on these tires are 500AAA. The only downside is that they pretty expensive. I got these tires because I got a crazy commute.

Hope this helps.
