I know the Nismo Z lug nuts have washers built in in the them, not the GTR ones. If the non-Nismo Z share the same lug nuts, then that is the difference.

The Z wheel nuts are actually more expensive than the GTR nuts.

370Z are flat and GT-R are tapered.

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but dammit... Whenever I decide to upgrade my stock 18" wheels, I have to go with a set of GTR wheels. They just look too damn good on the Z! And the fact that they are "stock" wheels, they still look low-key which is what I want. Low-key is going to be the theme of my car and these fit the bill perfectly.

I wouldn't mind a set of the Nismo wheels either, both the pre 15/16 as well as the 15/16. However, if I had my choice, I still think I'd go with the GTR wheels first.

The red and blue Z cars on the previous page with GTR wheels look great.

Really? those wheels look too heavy and chunky on the Z. Nismo wheels all the way!

You know, the more I look at it, you're right. They don't exactly look chunky, but they do look a bit heavy (and most likely are), and the look a bit too big.

The Sport Rays are nice but everyone and their brother has them (including my brother - LOL - Funny but true), and I've never been one for directional wheels.

The Nismo wheels I have always liked, and they look great with some wide meat on them. Slap some 305/30's on the rear and something like 265's or 275's on the front.

With all that said, I still like the base black 18's that I have. I just wish they could accept wider tires than 275's. Oh well.

They're pretty light wheels for being 20". I think they're around 23-24lbs each.

Yeah, I just saw that over on one of the GTR sites. Not bad at all for 20" wheels. I think my 18's weigh about the same. I like the way the center of the spokes suck in towards the center of the wheel, like my 18's.

The 18s are like 20.5lbs front and 23.5lbs rear.
