will spare tire fit with aftermarket lug nuts?
I was wondering whether spare tire fit with aftermarket lug nuts or not.
If not, I guess I have no reason to carry it with me anymore or should I rather leave 5 stock lug nuts in the car instead? |

wow, this is a great point that I never thought of. I'm sure most people with aftermarket wheels haven't either. Should be a sticky! plus rep for the OP, even though he was just asking the ?

I wouldn't know where to put the flat after the swap! If there is a passenger in the seat, then the hatch has limited space to safely carry a rear sports tire! I'd hate to blow a hatch glass trying to stuff that puppy in there!...

It does fit. I had a 19" sport rim (with tire, of course) in my rear hatch. You have to have it all the way forward though.

I don't know, thought all this seemed pretty obvious but then again what you and I consider common sense can be completely different. |
