Anyone put an aftermarket sub in the spare yet?

I dont want to lose my spare tire but it looks like it's headed that way! Any answers out there. Oh, and I can't lose trunk space.

Search around most people look at the z enclosures for the answer.

I dropped the spare in favor of 2 12"s. With a proper grill, the trunk space is still quite usable.

There is about 9" of space above the divider in the trunk area (just behind the crossbar) that you can easily put an amp in.

How do the 2 12s sound, I would imagine that would almost blow the doors off =)

IMO 2 12's is sort of ridiculous especially for a car the size of the z. I personally say one 12 or one 10 is enough for any system.

I'm a one 10 or two 8"s kinda guy. I am curious as to how the two 6" kickers sound in the spare tire box (stealth sub thread)

I completely agree with this, especially after having mine. Its nice to have that much power, but it is ridiculously excessive for the Z.

Only reason I did it is because I already had all the equipment so I figured I'd use it.
