Wheel Offset Discussion Thread... How far can we go?

So can you put on 15mm spacers on the front with aftermarket wheels, or will you run into the same problem with the OEM studs being to long?

Hello!

I'm currently looking for wheels for my 370z and frankly i'm a complete noob when it come to offsets. My plan is to eventually lower the car maybe 1"-1.5" drop. I am currently Looking at Forgestar F14s in gloss black

Deep Concave
19"
19x10 +22
19x11 +23

Will this set-up be "FLUSH" Will i need to run spacers in the Rears? And What tire sizes would i be able to fit in these without having any issues?

Thanks in Advance!

Front prob 255/265
Rear I'd run a 20mm and stick a 305 tire

Hey guys, new here. I'm trying to help my friend out with fitment on his 370z. Only issue is i cannot find the offset for his wheels. TSW Jarama 20x8.5(F) 245/35 20x10(R) 275/30 However i am unable to find the offset on tsw's website.
He wants spacers and i am having a hard time explaining wheel offset and fitment to him. Him simply thinks you can throw a 25mm spacer on the rear and it will be the same as a 25mm spacer on stock wheels.
Also he is planning on getting lowering springs

And one of my car for fun

TSW Jarama come in the following offsets:

20x8.5 5x114.3 +20 or +40
20x10.0 5x114.3 +25 or +40

Based on the pictures, my guess would be he has the +20 front and +25 rear.

Depending on how low he's going and how he wants the wheels to fit, he can go anywhere from 10mm - 25mm spacer front and 15mm - 30mm rear.

Even those offsets would be pushed in a bit... I would do +20/+25 and get some spacers...

I am looking at running either a 265 or 275 tire up front with a 295 or 305 rear. I am looking at Enkie NT30+M's in 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear. The 9.5's come in 27,40 and 55mm offsets with the 10.5 only in 30mm. I know someone who is running 10.5's all around for the track but I dont want to do anything too extreme to my suspension right now. I am stock height but can do camber arms if needed. I know the Nismo wheels come in 19x9.5 40 for the front but will a 275 tire rub with stock suspension? I also have a feeling that the 305 rear may look odd with a 30mm offset but I am not sure.

i run a 275 on a 20x10 +27. oem camber arm and loweredhalf an inch. so a 9.5 +27 with a 275 is the same thing. never rubbed.

Exclamation Noob question

Hey guys, another "will it fit" question or perhaps, "is it the same". I'm rocking
Nismo wheels with 19x9.5+40(+15mm Spacer)F and 19x10.5+23(+10mm Spacer)R;
they are equiped with RE-11 265/35/19F and 305/30/19R and right now they are
right below the fender, just exactly flush and not rubbing.

Here is my question, if I get wheels that's 19x9.5+22F and 19x10.5+12R, "will it fit"
or mainly, will i get the same results in terms of exactly flush like my nismo wheels
and not extruding the fender? And will it perhaps rub? I'm dropped on H&R springs
with SPC camber kits, close to OEM camber right now.

If it helps, I'm "thinking" of getting >insert legit forged wheels< in Matte Black on those sizes
and offsets. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

You lost me when you mentioned Varrstoen.

hey I said "thinking". But after spending a few minutes of researching,
I'm holding back. But back to the question (if it was not varrstoen), if I was to
get Volk or Works or any legit forged wheels, will that offset work?

I'm looking at getting the VarrsToen 1.1.3s. They only come in 20X10 or 20X11s. I want the wheels to look flush; what offset would I need to run if I'm lowered on the Tein S.Tech springs? (about one inch or so) I prefer not to have to purchase spacers and I will not roll the fenders.

My options are:
20x10+15
20x11+15
20x10+35
20x11+35

I couldn't find wheels I like. Most I've seen so far
on that site are good looking for muscle cars.
