I'm almost in need of new tires, the bar in between the treads is almost even. I'm running stock camber, height etc. I want 305s but I heard it'll worsen

I'm almost in need of new tires, the bar in between the treads is almost even. I'm running stock camber, height etc. I want 305s but I heard it'll worsen the start etc due to the amount of rubber. What would be the largest reccomended tire size for my case if I do spirited driving, no track. I was thinking of keeping the front stock sized (nitto invo) since they aren't worn at all and getting new 285/35/R19 (Ventus V12 evo2) in the back. Or would 285/30 be a better fit?
