Rear Tire Wear?

Why are my rear tires wearing more on the outside than the inside. Original stock, 19" Bridgestone s with 25mm spacers? 15k miles.

Sounds like an alignment issue.

Yeah, should be the other way around, inside always wares faster on these cars.

I'm having the same issue. However, on my car all four corners are wearing heavily on the outside. Will be going for an alignment check next week. Seems strange to me though since there is noticeable negative camber.

Yep

Edit: How much extra wear are you getting? Many sports cars, including the Z, will have "weird" alignment specs to improve cornering, so tire wear is normally a little uneven.

I've got the normal rear tire which is on the inside. I've got all around 25mm spacers and they've been aligned 4 months ago. Will be getting another set of rears this week..

Wearing on the outside would indicate positive camber not negative. Negative camber always wears on the inside

Default How much?

Hard to say how much more wear on the outside than the inside. I don't have an accurate gauge. But, I would say "a considerate amount". My previous 370's tire did not wear this way. So, I do believe an alignment is in order. I had the dealer do an alignment when the car had less than 2000 mikes on it. Makes me wonder...........????

I had very bad luck with the Nissan dealerships in my area - none seemed capable of, well, much of anything. Find a good tire shop in your area. If all they do is wheel/tires/align, you have a decent chance that they will be able and willing to do it right.

Default Alignment

Yeah, I know one. Bensons Alignment, in Webster Tx. I'll call for an appointment tomorrow am.
Thanks to all. Problem is, my tires have excessive wear now.
