wassup guy. I dont have a 370z but have a G37s. I came from the 350z so my background in Nissan is pretty knowledgeable. the community over in the G37 forum isn't that great and popping like how it is on here. Anyone goes to the weekly Z/G meet every Wednesday at 7:30pm? anyways, just dropping by to say hello and hopefully I can meet some new people. Hit me up if you guys need some photoshoot done for your Z.

Here are some pic of my G and previous 350z.

Hey Infamous, I think my Wife saw you on Blue Diamond. She was in my car. Described your ride to a T and then said Asian dude.

Lol I was confused. Saw the gtm plate frame, rolled up to wave and it was a woman. Mind ******. She got cut off by this stupid Frontier, who also almost switched lanes into a biker. Your car looks like a garage Queen. :P nice and clean.

Pfft. I polished and waxed the hood and ran the bjtch through the wash. It got stuck in the storm last weekend when I was drilling. I'm getting a fat *** tax return in a couple weeks, so I'm planning on getting a retune to help with my gas mileage and making a third map with meth tuned.

Im also due for tires. I'm debating stock sizes with Direzza ZII's or going with AD08R's with a 305/30/19 and 265/35/19 setup. The latter cost about $250 more, but give me an extra inch and a half on both wheels.

I'm also hoping to grab some lowering springs and spacers as well. I need something with a mild drop because my front already lowered from the toys under the hood. I'm thinking Tanabe's GF210 as the spring is rated to drop the front by .8" and the rear an inch. I love Swifts, but the drop will be too much for me now.

I can also finally grab Phunks RRP and get it installed too. He's been holding it for me for 3 months... All I need is a legit diff and she will be G2G for track time.

I would go with the 305s and 265s. You are going to need all the rubber you can use with the power you're putting down!!! Also, Eibach springs provide for a small drop as well.

Question for you Hotrodz. With me wanting my tune cleaned up and my meth tuned, I was debating with my wallet to have Seb do it. His prices aren't cheap, but I know he's good. His tuning and service need to be effing outstanding for what I'll have to pay. In his blog, he quotes I have to do a $125 inspection before it goes on his dyno, tuning is $550, and for him to touch up my DD tune, it's an extra $200. On top of that, he has a list of things for me to check on my own that I have 0 time for atm. Not only that, I haven't the slightest clue on how to check for boost leaks. I'm hoping you can give me your thoughts rq on what you thought.

Maybe come over or we can come over and Ryan can help with the boost leak check. He has a lot of forced induction experience.

SS, I hear you about the cost, but he is worth every dime. Other shops around the Nation and Canada fly him and Greg (his partner) out to do tuning sessions. If you have not already done so, I would call him and talk to him about what you want to achieve. If you have your UpRev cable it's is about $500 for a tune session. He is going to take his time and tune it right. He is very familiar with GTM products. As far as checking for boost leaks, I stumbled across a YouTube video and it is pretty simple. The guy just added some dishwashing soap with water in a spray bottle and sprayed all the connection where you might have a leak. If you get bubbles you have a leak. The deal was to do this on a cool or cold engine start so not to water spot all the shiny parts.

I am confident you will have a good experience with Seb. He is very responsive and is always there to provide you with good advise. I have also recommended Seb to Infamous as well. Here is what I know: Seb did the first tune on my car when it was NA and I had no issues with it and it ran strong. He has since installed my TT and tuned it as well and I have just passed the 3K mile point and I have not had one single issue with the TT or tune. The car seems to be running stronger than ever. Heck, Brian H. that splits time with BJ in the Nissan 14 car went to him to get his personal 300z tuned, so I would say that is not bad company to keep!

Good luck my friend...maybe we can head that way together as I need to get a tune for 100 octane.

I blasted him an email earlier today. Maybe if all three of us roll in, we get discount lol. That'd be a fun trip up too. It'd be really good PR for him too as he'd be tuning three different boosted cars in three configurations that should be pushing similar power. It'd be looking a tuning faceoff lol
