That was one of the deciding factors of why I went with a quaife. Also I love the fact there is no harsh engagement with a quaife, no special oil, and no break in period. But as I progress in racing my car competitively then I will upgrade as necessary. There is a lot of hearsay about inside tire spin and it's basically an open diff. From what I have experiened so far is non of that. I have tried to get it to unlock and become an open diff but it's only when I try really hard to do so. I also don't have to worry about the damn thing too. Just like the clutch discs on a clutch type having to replace is few and far between. IMO anything is better than the stock vlsd and open diff no matter what.
