that looks nice. is it accurate at all? i'm guessing you could test it against a 1/4 mile slip at a track and see how close it is. i'm guessing the phone data would be a little longer since it uses movement for data start point and the track waits for you to break the lasers. that then depends on how deep youre staged and reaction etc. but if the times are similar that would be a nice app to have. also 1/4 trap speed would have to be close as well to be creditable.

ill take that if its from the ECU. this would be the most accurate since its just reading the speed sensor like your dash gauge is! but if its GPS or something, id rather have a video.

dash command, at least the version I had in my 350z carputer did not have that, but I would not trust it IMO, the software, at least then was a bit flaky, at least then it was.

Doesn't matter. Any way you think is best. My WRX and buick I was at 2000 rpm and went for it like a dyno run. The WRX I think was all 3rd. The GS was 2nd into 3rd.

Whenever i get a chance, I'm going to give it a shot both starting in second and in third. My money says I'll be faster starting in third rather than shifting, but I've got more power down low than a NA Z.

I was already wondering this as well. I have to agree I think starting in 3rd will be faster. Sucks we will still have to hit 4th for that last 5mph

But you can run through the gears, whatever's faster. 2nd at 20mph will be fine then redline it into 3rd and 4th if need be.

Not exactly what your looking for but I had this video from a couple weeks ago. 60-120 going up a slight hill. Probably a 3% grade or so. Boost is right around 8PSI. I will try and go out tonight and get some more video on flat ground

my car back with 60hp less than it makes now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rPmJC9WYQI
you can notice how its struggling to climb the last few hundred RPM. Thats where i made most of my extra power when I tuned it again later. I added a lot of timing up top and it really climbed.

an older video... this vid sucks, but since the camera was mounted to the car, i had both hands, and you can see/hear how i powershift it when im full throttle (i didnt on the first shift for some reason). I dont ever let off when shifting under full throttle. never had problem, original trans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZUBgVFIFus
funny as hell.. i went forever without putting the velcro behind my boost controller. its in the cubby. if you watch carefully, you can see it fall out and swing by its wire from the first shift lol.
