I though I'd never have been able to say that but... Hard part cleared !!!
Rusty's idea of using string tied to the hose was really the way to go.
Now I'll try to figure what the next are meant to be.

I ran into another problem: fuel level sensor won't snap into rrp. I can't even slide it when it's on my lap.
If I compare it to the original one, I think that the reversed T in the middle might be a little bit bulkier. Anyone had that kind of problem?
Punk, what can I try next week to be able to snap it in?

Same problem. I used a file and a dremel tool with a burr bit to get it to fit. Took me about 5 minutes.

I have heard from a 2-3 people that they had to trim a little. I am not sure where the variance is. With the 2 test sensors that I have and designed around, they fit right on.

My Evo X had the same problem but on big left had sweepers instead of right hand.

I have 3 designs about 85% done and just need to pick the ONE to finish and start machining it.

I keep going back and forth on if I want it to be PnP with a 100% stock fuel system or not.

To keep install easy, I am building this one to directly replace the stock fuel pump, rather than work with it from the other side of the tank.

Well, the stock pump module has the filter and regulator built in. So, if I am replacing it entirely, I have to incorporate an internal filter and regulator if I want this to be PnP with a stock fuel system like the first generation RRP. But adding that stuff makes it a lot more complex to manufacture and of course expensive, and the gadgets displace surge capacity.

Right now I am leaning towards internal filter only... so that it works with our S1 and S1.5 return systems. If I dont at least put a filter inside this RRP, than people will need to add an external one which is a hassle, like our S2SE fuel system which is total overkill for guys running below 600hp.

But I know that lots of guys wont be happy having to buy a $550-600 S1 fuel system just to use the RRP if they have all-motor cars that would otherwise never need a fuel system upgrade, therefore pushing me to integrate a regulator too.

These decisions are what delay product development more than anything! I should just flip a coin and move on with it.

My 2 cents,

I got the RRP when the 2nd batch was offered. My biggest issues with it were the cost and the installation (cost). I made the decision to stay NA for the foreseeable future so dropping 1k + ~500 labor to get this working was a big cost in the overall cost of any other mods I have or would be doing to the car. It's been a great investment I feel because, no worrying about long turns when I am below a half tank and less time at the track wasted topping off the tank. If I were doing FI to the point where the stock fuel system needed to be replaced the cost would be only a small part of the overall build and not be much of a concern.

I personally I would not want to have to buy the S1 kit in conjunction with the v2 RRP. I think most people that need this product (track guys) are NA.

My back up plan was to modify the stock pump with fuel pick ups and run an external inline filter. That's no biggy for me to install and maintain (the filter I mean). Probably keep the cost down too.
