Unless you have a good mappable engine dyno to put them through there paces but lets face it. This isn't DP racing so the cost of doing so is just prohibitive.

Well, the old engine let go at 8,000ish RPM at the connecting rod. So you can imagine the damage it did to the motor. Hopefully, the heads on that motor will be alright but from what I hear it was pretty catastrophic.

Ah we hadn't gotten any details on what failed, I don't think, or I missed it in the thread.

Yeah a conrod letting go @ any RPM is bad. 8k, much worse.

That engine will probably be a total loss, I'd imagine.
