Indianapolis GP Conti Challenge 370Z RC

The Nissan Motorsports Doran 370Z RC is off the frame rack and into the body shop. From early report the guys were able to save her after many hours of "surgery" .
If all goes well ... should be back at home base tomorrow for "rehab" work.
With time against us once we get to Indy... we are looking to test early next week for a systems check and chassis setup... then head over to Indianapolis for next weeks race.
It's a grueling one day affair next Friday
Practice 8-9 am
Qualifying 9:15 to 9:30
Race 1-3:30
I'll keep you guys posted and we shall see how it goes.

I see that it says your are using the Grand Prix course. Is that what the MotoGP guys use that is run CCW or is it what the F1 guys used running CW or something else??

We are running the GP course that was used for F1.
It's also the same track that is used on Xbox 360 Forza4.
Since our car was under the knife for the test 2 weeks ago.... I was able to hop into Rehagen Racings 2009 FR500c to get some laps.
We will have absolutely ZERO time at the event next week to make changes... It has to be app on off the truck.
The first order of buisness will be getting Bryan Heitkotter laps in practice to learn the track.
After that ... Hopefully I can get in for a few and see where we are.
Bryan will once again qualify the car and I will move back to clean up.
Depending on the outcome of this event we will look at running Laguna but are currently searching for a funded driver in the 2nd seat.
It's the unfortunate outcome from the damage at Watkins Glen... but that's part of this type of racing.
