I think we should label it like my350...stock means 0 modifications. Just list street tire or drag tire next to the time.

Then have a modified section, supercharger section, turbo section, and an overl FI section.

I redeemed myself for last wednesday's crappy runs.

Best 2 runs of the night:

13.165 @ 104.98 mph 1.865 60ft

13.163 @ 106.05 mph 1.937 60ft (got a little wheelhop on that one)

DA's were about 1800ft, 84 degrees F.

congrats to billy/jnaut on the awesome runs.

that truck was so noisy, but you did hear a bit of the bov at the end of the burnout. It was really hard getting traction with billys 450hp car . 1st and 2nd are pretty much a waste of time but man does it pull so hard at the the big end, it actually screeched the tires shifting into 5th. His oil temp were around 180 - 200 , it will be a huge difference in the winter!! contgrats billys on an awesome car!!

No hate, I had just been telling Jay like the same day that Billy's car felt faster than mine since I got to take a quick ride in it.

If I ran a 13.2 with 293whp...and now I have 506whp...does that mean I should be in the 10s? The car weighs somewhere in the 3000lb range with me in it, I have a 6mt, and I can shift with both feet.

tranceformer 05-27-2011 02:08 PM

My car has yet to be on a dyno. But I know it weighs 3280 lb w/ 1/3 tank and no driver 100% stock.

11s are going to be more likely unless you can make a great launch on slicks without grenading the rear end.

3,000 lbs with you in it is very optimistic unless you have a lot of weight reduction. A 40th should be around 3250lbs without driver, so I would estimate your race weight around 3,400lb if you haven't done any reduction.

I guesstimate a 40th to be more than that since mine was 3280 as a base sport 6mt. Not as light as a non sport but still lighter than a touring or 40th.

You're right. I wanted to say my Touring + Sport '09 was approx 3,281 but I think it might be a little heavier.

The base is listed at 3,232 lbs. Sport + Touring probably adds another 70lbs.

tranceformer 05-27-2011 02:18 PM

1 lb???

3,281 was the number I had in my head for some reason. Looks like 3,280 is the official Base + Sport weight for a 6MT. So the Touring package probably puts that over 3,300 lbs.

Steve, I was totally being sarcastic. I was using "river math". According to the scale at Bradenton, my car weighs around 3550 with me in it. As long as I run an 11.99 or faster, I'll be happy...but of course, I'm gunning for Jason's 11.73 time:driving:

Oh, "river math," :icon18:

If you can drive stick and hook up, you'll definitely beat an 11.99!

My 370z sport with me is 3372 . im about 210 lbs ,
Car has been lightned just like J's car,
the only think i have not changed is the driver seat and back brake roter's
12 lbs less for 2 rotor's and another 25 lbs after i put in the racing seat
3335/ Now if i loose 20lbs it would be 3315.
" new parts being shipped from ????. will have them installed in 2 1/2 weeks.
Car will still be all moter ( no NOS ).
Should go low 12.3's or better.

Z

tranceformer 06-01-2011 10:32 AM

And with 4.08's and a tune and a motordyne intake manifold I should be at the very least I should be running 12.50's.

RCZ 06-01-2011 10:41 AM

If I lose 172 lbs by becoming a strand of floating dust and replace all body panels with tinfoil, you guys are screwed.

Just get b1adesofcha0s to drive your car, he MIGHT weigh 100lbs soaking wet. With winter clothes on.
