why run octane that high if you are not tuned for it??

Lol!
Well... I originally ordered the new 285/35/19 MT ET streets SS to run on my Nismo wheels. After waiting for two months, with no shipment because MT said that tire was still under testing/development - and not for sale yet, I ordered the 305/30/19 ET Street SS tires. When they arrived, I nearly threw my back out dragging them into the garage. These tires were freaking heavy! I pulled out the scale, and they were 39 lbs each! So, knowing that wont work due to rotating weight, I ordered the 285/18 MT ET SS tire that is 30 lbs! A whopping 9 pounds lighter! So, then I ordered the PF01 10.5"x 18" wheels with the 38 mm offset (21 lbs) that centers the tire in the wheel opening. So the 285/18 MT with the 18x10.5 PF01 wheel is 51 lbs. The water on the track made it spin. On a good track or a good road, the 285/18 MT does bog the engine just a tad. |

So the Nismo extra power, horrible riding quality and extra cost don't help the quarter mile times I see....:shakes head:
At least it looks cool... |

Finally just barely respectable enough to share publicly, RT being the clear and obvious exception (ready for the shade, bring it). My build thread is up here, but this was basically no prep, 90ish degrees, full tank, NT05R nismo Rays, and my first time in the 11s.
