Went back to the track yesterday. Last day the track is open here in 2017. Perfect racing weather.

Very Cool air - high temp of 60F today in the central USA! Dry air too!

DA = 800-1000 ft (this rarely happens here in OK)

2010 Touring 7AT
Mods are:
Empty trunk - 3470 lbs with driver (helps a lot)
Enkei 18 x 10.5 rear wheels w/ MT ET Str SS 285 tires @ 30 psi (helps a lot)
Z1 intake tubes (Waste of $$)
K&N panel filters (Waste of $$)
48 row cooler (ET penalty due to weight)
Mobile 1 10-30w oil (helps a little)
DIY ported upper and lower intake (helps a little)
Ebay test pipes (Manzo) (helps a little)
Ackrapovich CBE (helps a little)
Pulled brake fuse (helps a little)
No yaw or traction control (helps a lot)
4 gal of 91 Octane gas from Conoco (seems to work)
Compact spare front wheels with MT 26x6x18 Sportsman (saves 30lbs off the nose)
NO TUNE
13.193 @ 105.14mph 2.028 60'
WOW what a difference the weather makes!

I think you might have a 12 second car if you can get a better short time and a tune.

I see 110 pages on this thread; Is there any particular page with an updated list?
I seen the list on page 1,,,look's like it hasn't been updated in a year or 2?

SG4247 12-03-2017 06:15 PM

That would be really cool to have it updated.

Looks like tranceformer hasnt been on since early 2016.

March 29/2015’ I made this pass w/K&N drop in’s only...the filters knocked me out of the stock class.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9266f29344.jpg

I'd like to shave at least 1/2 sec. off; though my wheel/tires aren't optimal for best times.
I just want to see how it runs as is vs. the base wheel's & then looking to get a lighter set of wheels/tires for the dragstrip only.

Thats awesome!

What tires did you use for these runs?

Was the car on E85 for the day, did you dyno these mods?

The tires used were Mickey Thompson E/T street radials on 300zx rims!
The car dynod at 308hp with these mods a few weeks after this was ran.
And negative, 93 Octane was used.

i have the first set of cams JWT came out with.
i don't think the C2 cams are out to the general public yet?

SG4247 01-06-2018 09:02 AM

Interesting, would have thought it would make more power than that based on your 1/4 mile time.

But, that may have been a stingy dyno too...

not at all!
intakes, tear pipes, and CBE usually make around that power?

SG4247 01-06-2018 08:43 PM

Yes, 306 hp is in-line for the mods you had at the time. BUT if your car weighs 3400 lbs and makes 306 WHP - it would normally run about 13.00 sec 1/4 at 104 mph in decent conditions.

BUT, your car actually ran 12.66 @ 3400 lbs at a strong 110 mph which is more like 330 WHP in my opinion (and according to most drag calculators like quarter jr).

So, I think it ran better than expected at the track! Maybe it had a really good driver mod?

Have you dyno'd it since adding the cams, port work, headers, 3" intake etc..?

Should really haul now..
