I ran a new personal best but I'm a little disappointed. I really think the car has more in it as it sits but either my exhaust is limiting me or my gears. I think the tracks are closed for the season here so I'll most likely be dyno a few setups over the winter to see how it goes. The first slip is my best 60' time. The last 2 are my best 1/4 mile times.

10 Second Club Finally!
Street Car Take Over Phoenix AZ. Only one pass-shot at it since Tech tagged my Vert at 13.5et allowed.

Ran one pass at 10.92et 133mph (1700DA) then got booted!

Good job AJ & Blue!!! I'm gonna hold off till the spring & hopefully have my headers on & a retune....I gotta get down where AJcool's at & my 275lb azz & 3.36 diff isn't helping much.
Great Runs Guy's!

You need to get a 3.69 or a 4.08 diff on your car. When I was NA I felt it was one of the best mods on my car.

ajcool2 12-08-2016 12:44 PM

Just for future references my mods on my 12.47 runs were the following:

RPM longtube headers
NST Pulleys
Ark Grip Exhaust
GTR Injectors
340lph Fuel Pump
Z1 Intake Manifold
AAM intakes
High Stall Torque Converter
Stock Wheels and Tires
Cryo Treated Flexplate
93 Pump Gas
Uprev Tune

The car is setup for E85 but I was not running it at the time. The car weight is 3380 with me in it.

Your 60ft an ET is great for NA!

What elevation is the track and stall converter are you running?

FPenvy 12-08-2016 08:06 PM

I think capitol raceway is only at like 40 ft above sea level.

You are lucky! My local track elevation is 5300ft or I can travel 6 hours to a 1082ft :shakes head:

Just between these two I can run the 1/4 mile .40 quicker.

Capitol is 4 hours from me. I got my car tuned right by it so naturally the next day I went and ran there with some of the local Z guys.

Tracks by me are up there in elevation too so I know the pain.

Aj where did you get your 3200 stall converter from? And is it just a modified stock converter? Did you do the install yourself? And if so how complicated is the install?
