What is the front sway doing in the case of the Z that makes it so beneficial? I was always under the impression that a stiffer front sway would induce

What is the front sway doing in the case of the Z that makes it so beneficial? I was always under the impression that a stiffer front sway would induce understeer. I am asking specifically in the context of autocross which is my chosen performance diving venue.
