How do you get the european looking plates? I wouldmt mind having one of those up front.

FWIW, part of that same section of the legislative code states that you must use the plates that are issued by DPS. (Sec. 504.943):

Quote:

a person commits an offense if the person operates on a public highway, during a registration period, a motor vehicle that does not display two license plates that:
(1) have been assigned by the department for the period

Underground Graphics here in Houston offer replicas of the MyPlates (but not sure about Euro plates). AutoGeek has Euro plates but they don't have the Texas logo.
