hey guys, Im driving into Austin tomorrow thru thrusday for work and will have several hours Tuesday to drive around. I was hoping someone could point me to some nice/fun drives around that area. I wanted to take advantage of the afternoon. Im staying around 183 @ 290.

Any good drives in that area?

Take 183 up to 620 and we can take you out to Lime Creek. :tup: Or you know, just look it up yourself if you want.

i will check out lime creek. looks fun from what i can find on google maps. much better than the roads in Houston. Kinda wishing i had gotten new tires this weekend tho.....

First run should be taken at speed limit anyway. Some of those turns are nasty. Run south to north and then the opposite way. For a scenic drive, 360 is nice but has lights. For speed, try the 130 tollroad for 80mph limits.

thanks for the advice... I have yet to take my Z on some twisties!

The whole run from 620 to the end of Lime Creek and back is pretty fun. Lime Creek Drive itself is starting to get more and more local traffic because of increased development in the area -- at least that's how it seemed to me the last time I ran it about a year ago.

We had 2 BRZs (one was mine), a Nismo, and an R8 during the drive to Leander. Another 370z joined us there. The show itself had a pretty good turnout even though it was a bit chilly.

Pintsize725, Yeah I haven't been to concerned about selling them lately. I'm still working on some other things with the car at the moment so it might be a couple months before I actually decide what to do.
