I've always been a fan of the Puma King boots, no other brand or model has ever felt comfortable to me, I can run a full 90 with zero hot spots/blisters in them. I had the Nike Vapors awhile ago and they shredded the shyt outta my heels, booo.

Red370 06-10-2010 07:31 AM

Well it appears that Arsenal have signed Joe Cole on a free transfer... I have mixed feelings about this one... I hope this wasnt AW's replacement for Cesc, dont get me wrong, Cole is one hell of a player and gives defenses shyt attacks, but hes very injury prone and small in stature.

uh...red card for trying to use the 'shocker' in the middle of a professional football match.

goal.com red? there was no source on that article at all. i refuse to believe the article until i see joe cole wearing the red and white.

arsene, where the f*ck is my new centreback and goalkeeper?!

Arsene Wenger firm on Cesc Fabregas, compliments Joe Cole - Transfers - ESPN Soccernet
Quote:

... it is reported that Arsenal are leading the chase for Joe Cole, who is available as a free agent following the news that he has been released from his Chelsea contract.

Wenger would not confirm whether he has made a move for the England international but was very complimentary about Cole's capabilities.
Nothing definite yet.

cow 06-10-2010 05:31 PM

Cole would more than likely be used out wide. I don't see him as a Fabregas replacement--hopefully he won't need a replacement at Arsenal for years.

Word!

It seems the crafty frenchman is the only one that could really be a direct slot in for fab, i've already come to terms with him leaving, so I at least want somebody that I know could come in and produce.

why are you giving up on the skipper already? he has not said anything damning, the only one rattling off his godamn mouth is xavicunt and laportly. hill-wood made it absolutely clear that cesc is NOT for sale, and cesc has too much respect for arsenal to force his way out. i'd be willing to bet he's playing along to put a little bit of pressure on arsene to buy quality players.

after all, nothing like "lol barca dna, come back to nou camp" to freak out arsenal. i think it's actually not a bad play for fabregas either. AW now has a serious issue on his hands whether he likes it or not, and he will go out and spend the money to upgrade the squad.

joe cole is a good one because we'll at least up the amount of english players on the squad, so we're not Ligue 1, London lol. but seriously, as much as i want gourcuff, ARSENE BUY A GODAMN CENTREBACK ALREADY.

but until he comes out and says 'i want to leave' (and i seriously doubt he will), cesc is still a gunner.

**** barca. and xavi, go play on CSI or something. you don't know **** about DNA. http://threeandin.com/2010/06/07/xav...ith-cescs-dna/

You make some good points, but with all the talk of Barca offering Yaya + Cash, and Fabregas hinting at how much of a dream it would be to play for his former club again, and all these presidents promising he'll be at Barca, i've just given up to be honest.

And I found this article to be quite amusing... RvP, better than C. Ronaldo.

Netherlands & Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is better than Cristiano Ronaldo - former youth coach Rene Hessel - Goal.com

I also seen one on telegraph saying that he has signed a "pre" contract with Arsenal should he pass a medical once the cup has convened, then it becomes official, which further added fuel to the fire.

Red370 06-10-2010 07:48 PM

believe me, I dont care either way, Joe Cole is alright, but not the midfielder I want in the team at all.

I was just thinking, those of you who follow Arsenal, who is one player in the Gunners' past that you kinda miss seeing playing for us?

ooh, the rematch, except this time an aging Oliver Kahn isnt between the sticks, that would prove to be an interesting match.

Red370 06-10-2010 09:08 PM

I dont think anyone is giving the dutch enough credit this year, they arent everyones dark horse for nothing...

Aging? Kahn was 32 in the 2002 WC. Thats not aging lol. He was insane up until his retirment s0n.

Yeah it would be a great rematch I would love to see it lol. I had a tough decision between Spain/Germany.

Too injury prone...I just have a bad feeling. They can go far but something worries me.

Red370 06-10-2010 09:27 PM

Is it me, or is MLS soccer just a string of inaccurate long balls and sloppy fouls? I'm watching the Sounders game on ESPN and I find myself sitting here in mind numbing awe of how horribly the game flows.... Ljungberg takes posession, passes to Ianni, sloppy long ball played straight to DC United defense, defender plays sloppy long ball down the field, possession changes, ball back in midfield, 5 players swarm to the ball, more sloppy jarring... my god its terrible...

Red370 06-10-2010 09:31 PM

and shyt, can anyone in this league cross the ball in mid stride? I played better balls on my ODP U-15 team.

blue660r01 06-10-2010 09:34 PM

The Galaxy are the only good team when complete lol.

I turned that game off btw

Red370 06-10-2010 09:38 PM

Freddie is really the only one producing any kind of creativity, hes made some great runs in the box the past few minutes, only to be followed by poor runs by their forwards. Ahh, I miss the old freddie...dude had sweet hair.
