Is anyone else here in agreement that its about time we offload the Russian? I've been watching him all season long and I must say, his form from his first season to now, has really gone to shyt. I'm thinking we offload him for 15-20 mil to Man City and buy a better winger... Ashley Young comes to mind.

ESPN Soccernet - Correspondents - Stoke City - One Rule For Arsenal...

I love that Stoke, et al spend all their time talking about Arsenal thus deflecting attention from the fact that their team is shite.

cow 10-22-2010 02:48 PM

Reading the comments, the author is a moron. I wonder if I could get a job there.

Arsene Wenger looking to extend Andrey Arshavin's stay at Arsenal - Goal.com

I have to ask, where is Arsene Wenger looking? Arshavin has his moments of brilliance, but he looks very disinterested this season. I want Rosicky starting, dammit!

The only player I would absolutely beg AW to buy is Keisuke Honda.

Red, cow, what platform is that, X360?

Arsene Wenger has brought this on himself, were it not for his hypocritical and often unprovoked attacks on certain teams, including Stoke, criticising ‘rugby’ like tactics, then he would be wearing a lot less of the egg that currently adorns his face just above the remnants of humble pie sticking out of his mouth.
...what? AW and Jack have already come out and said "Yes that was a bad tackle, I'm sorry"...this is ridiculous. Shawcross / Stoke will go "THAT WAS A PERFECTLY GOOD TACKLE SORRY THE LEG WAS BROKE".

1 – Nasri kicking and kneeing a player on the ground which deserved a red card
I said it before. If anybody watched the replays, Ridgewell tried to knock Nasri's ankle off.

cow 10-22-2010 03:05 PM

I'm playing on 360.

On Nasri, he definitely reacted to a rash kick-- both players deserved a yellow.

Regarding Arshavin, I'd like to see him on the bench for a few matches in the Ole Gunnar Solskjær role. I think that might help light a fire under Rooski's ass. Also, I really like Rosicky-- I want to see him on the pitch as much as possible. I think we've looked quite lively when he's out there.

FUC K YES!!!!

That's exactly the kind of resolve we've been waiting to see.

Red370 10-24-2010 11:57 AM

great game by the Gunners today, and I must say, Fabianski was excellent in goal, first time I think i've ever praised the guy. Nasri was excellent on the ball, Fabregas didnt contribute as much as I would have liked to see, and that penalty miss was woeful, but hes coming back from injury and it'll take a few games to knock the rust off. Bendtners goal was pure class, such a deft little bender past Hart. Nasri gets the match ball for me, he was up and down the pitch, box to box, defensively, offensively, by far the hardest worker on the pitch today. GOOOO GUNNNERS!!!

phelan 10-24-2010 02:12 PM

Sagna had a chance to play a sneaky through ball to Bendtner for 4-0. Bendtner was "WTF" when it didn't come in haha. Great game, not sure what to take out of it as Boyata was a dumbass and got himself sent off.

Fabregas needs a few more games to be 100%, but his vision is always there. Hopefully he didn't pick up too many knocks this game, those were some nasty challenges he endured in the 1st half.

Flappyhandski no more!!!!

cow 10-24-2010 02:42 PM

So many times in recent years, Arsenal has crapped themselves in games like that. Today was so great to see. I finally feel like the team is starting to have some nuts & the ability to kill off teams.

Red370 10-24-2010 03:01 PM

i'll agree with the announcers though. I love watching Arsenal play, their fluidity, their cutting accurate balls, the pace, but what really REALLY pisses me off, if wasteful efforts, they're always looking for the easy shot. We need to be taking more shots altogether, stop waiting for that perfect layoff and take some shots will ya? i seen countless opportunities today that went wasted because of one pass too many.

Sky News: White Hart Lane has been burnt down this evening.

Police suspect it could be Arsene.

Red370 10-27-2010 03:55 PM

Theo demolished Newcastle today. Szcesny actually put on one hell of a performance as well, good show all around. And Nicky B got back on the scoresheet, hes looking dangerous as ever.

But Djourou was shockingly bad. SHOCKINGLY. Beaten to nearly every loose ball, man marking was horrendous. Got lucky that his legs are long enough to smash a few clearances or the Toon Army would've had one in the back of the net for sure.

I'm devastated Gibbs came off with yet ANOTHER injury. It looks like the rest of the squad is starting to show some steel, but it's a humbling reminder that Arsenal players still have the reputation of being a bit...fragile.

Still, very pleased with Walcott's return onto the scoresheet. I laughed my head off when Bendtner basically flattened defenders to clear Walcott's path. Enforce this, Toons!

Fabregas got some burn today, it was nice to see him

this made my day, does anyone else find it ridiculous that this kid already makes $28,000 a week? and they're gonna triple that.... 18 years old and ballin. Gotta say, the kid has earned it.

Jack Wilshere close to signing new deal at Arsenal - Barclays Premier League - ESPN Soccernet

Red370 10-30-2010 09:49 AM

Robert Green having the game of his life, should be 3-nil to the Arsenal already, I say 2 goals in the second half. Wont come easy though, West Ham said screw the attack, we'll wait for set pieces, been playing the whole game with 11 men back. Ugly football to say the least.

Red370 10-30-2010 10:17 AM

two things i've noticed today, who'da thunk Nasri had a .30-06 attached to his leg, what a laser shot off that bar from 30+ yards. And two, Behrami is an ugly motherfvcker.

Red370 10-30-2010 10:58 AM

gritty win, and how Scott Parker hasnt seen yellow is mystifying to me. The guys been a thug all match, pulling shirts, late in tackles, i dont get it.

phelan 10-30-2010 01:40 PM

robert green for MOTM. brilliant goalkeeping to keep the arsenal at bay. thank god clichy put in WORK this game. great cross, alex song had the simplest of finishes. just hate to see song running all the way forward all the time now. we can't do that against the big teams.

arshavin must be benched when RvP returns. front line of walcott, RvP, and Chamakh would be great. Chamakh remains CF, RvP on the right, walcott on the left.

goal.com is harsh on fabianski. 5.5? eh...i'd give him a 6 just because arsenal dominated so much, he had almost nothing to do.

LOL manShitty lost to wolves.

That kid is going to fetch a pretty penny for Tottenham, hopefully Barca says fuck Fab and buys his ass. As much as I hate the yids, that kid is a stud. Too bad Wales still sucks.
