Barcelona will 'respect' Arsenal's wish to keep Cesc Fabregas - Transfers - ESPN Soccernet

GOOD MAN. now get your players to shut the f*ck up.

<3,
Arsenal

Red370 07-30-2010 05:41 PM

about damn time, I dont understand, its not ok for a team to badger players to join them, but its perfectly fine for players on said team to do it? FIFA, you and your rules are bullshyt.

G37Sam 07-31-2010 04:01 AM

Someone rename this thread to "The official Arsenal Thread" lol

cow 07-31-2010 08:18 AM

Nope. Others are welcome, but no one has come aboard.

G37Sam 07-31-2010 08:21 AM

haha well I'm afraid of putting up Real Madrid news and getting flamed lol

cow 07-31-2010 09:31 AM

Do what you do, man. It's the soccer thread.

cow 07-31-2010 10:05 AM

Milan vs Arsenal at the Emirates Cup in a bit.

cow 07-31-2010 10:06 AM

Despite the score being 2-0, the Celtic vs Lyon is a good match from the neutral standpoint. Lots of chances created.

cow 07-31-2010 10:17 AM

2-2 now. Good match!

Red370 07-31-2010 11:02 AM

arsenal is up 1-Nil so far, they look sharp as hell!!!

Chamakh with the goal, set up by the little Russian. Whats funny is Milan fielded a full strength side and they are being completely outplayed. I dont see their season going so well.

Anyone know where I can find an Arsenal flag without the St. George's cross?

cow 07-31-2010 11:36 AM

Watching Nasri, I can't believe Domenech didn't bring him to South Africa. What an idiot.

cow 07-31-2010 11:43 AM

I've been quite impressed with Koscielny.

cow 07-31-2010 11:46 AM

Chamakh & Arshavin seem to be forming a good understanding up top. I'm liking this a lot.

Red370 07-31-2010 12:11 PM

Arsene subbed in the reserves and the attack came to a screeching halt lol, its preseason I guess, gotta make sure everyone gets some minutes under their belt I suppose. Great goal by the Duck. Wilshere looked good, Nasri looked great as he has all preseason and yes, Domenech was an idiot, I understand that he and Nasri had a falling out prior to the world cup which is why he wasnt included on the roster. Koscielny looks great, looks to be another shrewd buy for AW.

Red370 07-31-2010 12:11 PM

and I must say, im kind of surprised that Gooch didnt get some minutes, unless hes still injured and Milan want to save him for the season.

cow 07-31-2010 12:17 PM

Argh draw.

Red370 07-31-2010 12:19 PM

yeah, it came against the run of play off a set piece, those are the worst goals to give away man, especially when you own the pace of play. Its ok though, we'll get to beat Celtic and Lyon.

cow 07-31-2010 12:20 PM

Red, you're right-- I was very impressed by Wilshere. I hope we hang on to him.

Hes a product of the Arsenal youth academy so I dont think AW will be letting him go, hes going to be one of the England greats for sure, mark my words. And as far as Fabianski, I agree Phelan, guy is el garbagio to the max, and to be completely honest, although it was a preseason match and AW wants to get his bench some minutes, Mannone should start over him, every time i've seen that guy play, hes been much better than that polish kid.

cow 08-01-2010 11:23 AM

Sagna!!!!

cow 08-01-2010 12:28 PM

That match ended much closer than it should have. I'm not overly worried considering the mix of youngsters & first teamers on both sides.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson in car crash - Barclays Premier League - ESPN Soccernet

Quote:

The paper also claims that two companions - a man known as Victor, and a young Brazilian woman, whose details have not been released - were also involved in the accident and were taken to St Mark's hospital to be treated for concussion, whiplash and shock. "They had only minor injuries," a hospital spokesman, Roman Fresco, said.
Aren't R8s two seaters?

phelan 08-01-2010 08:58 PM

lol @ tags in here

and r8s are two seaters...she was getting a ride from Victor haha

Red370 08-01-2010 09:40 PM

Just seen that Arsenal won the Emirates today, good to hear, hey, we got a trophy woo! haha, too bad it dont count :(

And yeah... my cars a two seater too, but the hatch area holds two bound and gagged hookers, Anderson and I, we're not so different...

Red370 08-01-2010 09:44 PM

and Wilshere is a fockin stud.

phelan 08-01-2010 10:42 PM

wilshere is the man.

and I Would Love Cesc Fabregas To Come To Barcelona - Lionel Messi - Goal.com

if i had a dime for every ******* article they wrote about cesc...i'd have like 10 bucks.

Red370 08-02-2010 06:15 AM

Messi isnt even Spanish so he can STFU.

cow 08-02-2010 09:20 AM

Messi should've played for Spain. I buy him more as Spanish than Argentine.

Red370 08-02-2010 09:50 AM

never understood why the guy scores boatloads for Barca but craps his pants when he plays for the Nats

cow 08-02-2010 10:00 AM

Spanish chicks are hotter, so he has more motivation.

cow 08-02-2010 10:02 AM

daily Fabregas speculative post:
Denilson believes Cesc Fabregas wants Arsenal stay - Transfers - ESPN Soccernet

cow 08-02-2010 10:03 AM

& more on Wilshere:
Arsene Wenger backs English starlet Jack Wilshere for Euro 2012 - England - ESPN Soccernet

I like how scrappy he is-- willing to shield the ball from much bigger players, but doesn't go to ground looking for fouls.

cow 08-02-2010 10:05 AM

I wonder if Bolton feels used.

"Yeah, we had this kid play for us for six months, & now it looks like he's going to decimate for another team for the foreseeable future."
