Y'all should come to Dubai and watch world cup at night in a bar rather than at 7 in the morning lol
|
What's with all that trash on the field in KOR vs ARG?
|
lol @ Argentina's simple mistake. Over confident with 2 goals
|
Respect to Argentine to be honest, even though it was pretty tight at first
Still waiting on replays to see if the 3rd goal was an offside |

I'll check when I get home whether I do-- found some round trip flights for less than $400.

|
well this was another shocker...
I thought Nigeria would take Greece.... definitely not the same teams as in the first game... Greece was playing well... nigeria looked confused. Next up France v Mexico? |
France will win that one

Argentine trick... fill the field with papers, and it confuses the opposite teams because it makes it hard to see the ball.... very common in the internal games: http://www.la-redo.net/wpNew/wp-cont...-la-cancha.jpg http://www.riverplate.com/files.php?..._910219524.jpg One game between River Plate and Boca Juniors... in La Bombonera... Boca's stadium..... there was so many damn papers.... the game was stopped the the Bosteros (boca) actually came out with leaf blowers to clean the field. |
^^trickery!!...if you aint cheatin...your not trying!..haha
|
Obviously, I want France to win, but I'm not hugely optimistic.
A friend was asking me about different teams yesterday & I broke it down in terms of Call of Duty: Italy = COD campers Portugal = glitchers Suisse = guy who somehow goes 3-1 in a deathmatch France = clan that is great at deathmatch with their individual skill, but suck at team-based objectives Quote:
I'd pop up for a match if I had time, but alas. |
Who are the noob tubers?

I don't care what anyone says, I feel sorry for the guy. I wanted the US to win for sure, but I admit, I felt for Rob Green. I thought Joe Hart was going to get the start anyway. To me he's a way better keeper. More clean sheets at Birmingham than West Ham I think? Oh, and I think France and Mexico will end in a draw. Both teams really have to win, but I think each team will score once and the points will be shared. |

The french players cannot play together for some reason, send everyone back to his club
Is Domenech to blame? |
Domenech is largely to blame-- a good coach is able to galvanize his players. Also, leaving out Nasri was a questionable move.
Today was awful-- he fielded four or five left-sided players. Gourcuff didn't have a good first match, but at least he plays through the middle. 2006's relative success was IN SPITE of Domenech, not because of him. |
