Is that kit for next season ? . ?

Pretty cool you saw the Newcastle win (!) . . . can't wait to see a match at the Emirates.

Haboob 01-05-2013 02:20 PM

I'm not impressed much by the Adidas kit. I don't like Adidas to begin with (prefer Puma, but we know that won't happen with Spurs having them).

The white is the best of the three, but still... too much going on and I don't like the three-stripes on the sleeve.

However, these are just rumors... no truth yet from what I've read. Hopefully something will change.

Red370 01-05-2013 04:17 PM

It was supposedly leaked, but looks legit. I could really care less about the looks to be honest, anything looks better than what we have now. What I DO care about is the money we're supposedly going to get per season, something like 23 million, up from the 13 million nike pays.

My London experience was amazing boys, went to the famous Gunners Pub before the match, met some awesome people, enjoyed the match, came back and continued to get fvcked up well into the night with fellow Gooners, you must ALL make the pilgrimage one day, its truly a one of a kind experience, i'll upload more pics from my phone for yall when I get some free time.

Fvcking LOVED this place.

Some of the guys on the footy forums I go on made some good points:

The badge is in the middle, I don't like that either.
The white kit looks too much like the French kit.

phelan 01-06-2013 01:27 AM

i was JUST about to say that. it reminded me immediately of like...PSG.

bigsix 01-10-2013 12:57 PM

yea, the Arsenal badge has gotta be over the heart .

bigsix 01-10-2013 12:58 PM

Red370, Any pic's of the players on the pitch during the game ? ?

forza370z 01-12-2013 01:01 AM

I actually like the Arsenal new kit. Pretty cool if you ask me.

But this one... Hmmmm

:rofl2: It's beyond frustrating. Though, it seems all of the teams I support are just as frustrating (Cowboys, Diamondbacks, Suns, US MNT). It's only fitting that Arsenal are this way too. Wouldn't want them to be different, consistent, and successful.

Haboob 01-15-2013 01:51 PM

As do many others.

Haboob 01-16-2013 03:16 PM

We finally broke through against Swansea! Wilshere with a great goal.

Though, we should have 3-4 more goals, but we just seem to kick them straight at Vorm.

He's made (and the defenders) some good saves too though.

All this Arsenal talk and you guys miss out on real news

BBC Sport - Pep Guardiola: Bayern Munich to appoint Spaniard as manager

phelan 01-16-2013 04:02 PM

BIG signing for Bayern; going to rape Europe for three years now. Feels like Guardiola just goes from powerhouse to powerhouse though. Good for BM though, now it's going to be hell on earth to play them for a while. In a way, I feel bad for Dortmund (my Bundesliga team haha).

And f*ck me, I think I am going to end up getting his jersey, even though I said I'd never personalize one ever again...
http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/...f4a4d-620.jpeg

About time someone shows up who truly bleeds for the Arsenal.

Kind of nice actually....feels like Wenger FINALLY woke up and did something managerial-esque. We played with a lineup suited to 4-2-3-1, less than the usual 4-3-3 ******** we usually go for. I think the two holders played remarkably well, le Coq especially. Diaby is still rustier than a truck bed in Mississippi, but he'll get there...assuming he doesn't get crocked again.

bigsix 01-20-2013 01:46 AM

Pretty good news that Walcott decided to stay at the Emirates. . . wonder if he'll turn into a main striker up front . . . not a huge fan of Giroud @ this pt.

Haboob 01-20-2013 07:38 AM

I like Giroud, but he's turning out to be a bit of a Bendtner - he can't finish seemingly easy chances.

Just like now - should have had a goal, but no, puts it wide, and immediately a great ball to Mata and we're down 1-0.

Haboob 01-20-2013 07:48 AM

Why did I even get up at 6:30 to watch this? It may be 5-0 at FT.

Our defense is so suspect. Sagna needs to go. He was 20-30 yards from Ramires. Szczesny had no other option.

Wenger is ruining this team little by little with his media antics and by not buying quality and not buying the correct position players.

Edit: We've been better the second half and pulled a goal back (Walcott). Still a ways to go, we may be able to salvage a point...

bigsix 01-20-2013 09:32 AM

One last chance for Giroud- headed it just over the bar...

Haboob 01-23-2013 02:10 PM

Arsenal are struggling with West Ham. Poor defending on the corner, but Poldi pulled us level with a great strike.

phelan 01-23-2013 03:03 PM

...ha

ha
....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

we really are a team of two halves. and, walrus ham united sucks.

Just watch, this is gonna do wonders for Giroud's and Poldi's self confidence...and now we won't sign sh*t this transfer window :icon17:

Who... who is this team?

Simply beautiful to watch!

Granted, it's West Ham, but we haven't played like this against anybody (not even the Newcastle romp).

bigsix 01-24-2013 11:18 PM

Every goal was pretty nice in its own right- Podolski's killer strike got 'the ball rolling'. . looked like both Cazorla's goal and Giroud's 2nd goal were deftly wrapped behind and around the close-by defender

bigsix 01-25-2013 12:34 AM

There is A Lot of Skill in A.Wenger's squad if we're scoring so many goals in a big game like this. It's too bad we played w/out much confidence versus Chelsea & Mancity

Haboob 01-25-2013 07:30 AM

Yeah, but in the end it was just West Ham. It's much easier for us to dominate control like we did (in the second half).

We need to replicate this against mid-table and top clubs.

bigsix 01-25-2013 07:48 PM

yeah. Agreed

JNews86 01-29-2013 11:24 AM

Balotelli to AC Milan

saber 01-29-2013 12:31 PM

baloltelli.

forza370z 01-29-2013 12:50 PM

Geez! Really?! Maybe because I posted too many Balotelli's pix here?? Sometimes I doubt uncle fester owns a 370z and comes to this thread quite often too.:icon17:

But be quite honest, I'd rather to see Kaka come back. Milan's problem is the midfield and defense. Plus Balotelli would be pretty hard to manage. I hope it's a good buy tho.

Forza Milan!

saber 01-29-2013 12:57 PM

I should've bought like 80 of his cards on FIFA ultimate team.

JNews86 01-29-2013 01:05 PM

Kaka is still possible

If we can manage to sell Boateng, Abate and Robinho... Finger crossed.

saber 01-29-2013 01:35 PM

Can't believe I know people who want to go watch the sh*tfest that will be Aston Villa v. Nouveauchateau United

bigsix 01-29-2013 06:31 PM

Barcelona doesn't want to sell David Villa

saber 01-31-2013 05:33 PM

Hot damn, he actually signed.

Spanish flair with British steel, and some French sexiness to boot. Who starts when fit, Gibbo or Cheese?

*conveniently ignoring Brazilian idiocy*

bigsix 02-01-2013 03:14 AM

This pretty much says that Wenger is confident in our offense & that it doesn't need improvement. He'll keep using Giroud and Walcott up front. To be fair, they've both been in good form along with Podolski.

The current squad @ the Emirates can only get stronger. I think the mixture of Wilshere with Arteta (+ RosickY) can enrich the movement forward.

*** One combo I think AW should try for creating more goals out of the midfield is Cazorla with Arshavin and/or Wilshere with Ramsey. These combos should be employed in the STARTING LINEUPS, too! These 2nd half comebacks are nervy. ...

saber 02-01-2013 11:25 AM

Giroud looked like a zombie at the end of the Liverpoop game.

And Arshavin should be nowhere NEAR the first team. Did you see how out of shape he was when he came on as a sub?????

Red370 02-01-2013 01:32 PM

Giroud has been a fucking badass lately, dunno what it took to wake his escargot eating ass up, but he needs to keep it going.

As far as Monreal, I watched them play Barca earlier and this dude had Messi's number, like a fly on shit. I honestly do believe that he may unseat Gibbs and to be honest, I think Gibbs needs a rest, he's been in almost every match, shades of Wilshere last year there and you know what happened to Jacky... I would like to have signed a solid defensive mid, someone in the mold of M'vila but with less shitty form, i/e Diame or Biglia.

Anywho, on we go, now lets beat some Stoke arse tomorrow. COYG!
