This is the place I use fo Audio, they also do performance parts for most popular Japanese cars. They prep some cars for SEMA among other nice customer cars including Z's. The Uchida's are very friendly people. Check out the shop Supra and AE86, they are really well done (if they still own both).

Ask for Ryan or Lisa

Can anyone recommend a dealer in the San Diego or north county area for basic service (oil change, etc)?

Thanks.

Taking your car to a dealer for basic service is not always mandatory. I mostly employ ASE certified Nissan Master technicians. In fact two of my current part time techs are technicians full time at Nissan dealerships.

Im in SD and we can do WHATEVER you could ever need done.

I know GTM is great for their FI installs+tuning, I'm just curious if there are others in the area that perform great work and/or have great relationships with GTM.

I'm just looking at this as if there might be a time sensitive issue... as GTM might have a waiting list before I ship my Z out of state. (Currently deployed, stationed in Hawaii, family is from SoCal)

Any recommendations?

I do know bigger shops do get massively over-booked, spread thin, take on more work than they can do, and sometimes take quite a while to even get to your car, let alone finish it. I have seen many horror stories.

We have a ton of Nissan and forced induction experience with these type cars, I guarantee we could get done whatever you may need in a very timely manner, without issue.

I agree Amplified Motorsports is an awesome shop. Their techs are very knowledgable and Lou always makes sure the customer is informed and satisfied. Top notch work!

Just had some eibach's springs installed at Evasive Motorsports for $120. They seem to be a pretty cool tuner install shop.. I would recommend them.

Highly recommended! Wayne and his crew do very high quality work at very reasonable prices. I've referred dozens of friends to him and all have been very happy. I've had everything from lip kits and small repairs to a complete color change inside/out.
