That's true. He might need the metal cast one like mine which definitely avoids this, although I didn't get as low boost when I had my silicon one.

It turned out to be worn rose joints on the the traction rods which have now been replaced with hard rubber joints.
I will never include rose joints in any of my suspension, especially for a DD

Just to let you know I did need another different length stub axle to fit the Wavetrac compared to the previous Cusco setup. So your "yes" answer was incorrect.
