Interesting subject but needs some processing to make the shots more interesting and less bland

Like this one, sometimes crappy weather is ok for lighting, especially if you have some color like this background


Unlikely to get both in focus! Would certainly try to focus on the bird. Bird photography is pretty challenging and takes some expensive zoom lenses to do it right. I also like that last plane shot, nice lighting

Actually, I put quite a bit of processing into those images. It's New Jersey on a grey day... I attempted to make the colours and contrast look more interesting, but I stopped myself from trying to make it look like Hawaii. What do you suggest?
