If I like it enough, there's this place that can convert cameras to only shoot in Infrared by removing the low pass filter and replacing it with an IF filter at the sensor itself. I may hold on to my D90 and have it done if I like it enough.

I don't mean faking it. I mean taking an infrared shot from the camera, either a converted camera or a filter, and then retouching with color (blue most often) in photoshop.
