The hair? The shadow? I'm not sure what you're talking about. I thought her crazy hair was one of her key features.
If I went lower, wouldn't that end up being an "up the nostrils" shot?

Does he mean the freckles? I dunno....

What lens did you use? Shooting from a really low angle will make her look taller & slimmer, especially if your lens is more on the wider side. Just get her to tilt her head down a bit. You won't create a noticable "up the nostril" shot any more than that pic.

It's still a good shot.

On my phone it looks like brown spots.

Just don't use a wide angle close to the nostrils. 85-135 portrait range :-)

She has delightful freckles!
I've been a little space challenged where I'm shooting. I've been stuck using my 28-135 zoomed out all the way. I can't even get far away enough to get a full body shot with my 50.
I'll try getting a little lower. Thanks for the tips, guys!
