Just noticed the photog forum. Some good stuff in here!
A few from my Flickr... I tend to do a lot of random stuff. Whatever I think looks cool. Happy shooting! |

Awesome retouching/compositing! |
No high-tech wizardry or amazing DOF happening here.
Just some solid shots of some girls with hair for my salon's website and online/print promotion. I'm pretty happy with how the shots came out. I did all the hair, directed and styled the shoot. The only thing I don't do is make-up. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...12995589_o.jpg https://scontent-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...01409990_o.jpg https://scontent-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hp...17544694_o.jpg Arrrgh... crappy Facebook resolutions. |

1pm... Harsh, nasty light. I warmed it a touch in LR, but that was it. Meter manually, then throw the ND filter on and calculate the exposure time ( I use a simple phone app). |

Finished this one the other day. Still have 3 more shots from the session to retouch.

edit: no longer for sale

Not that it matters because you all are way more skilled than I am but......
I think I'm going to sell the Speedlite (that I haven't even used) and use the money to go towards a 17-40 lens. |
or you could buy a like new 70-200 f4 IS! Lol, j/k, if you dont use it ditch it, thats what I say. if you want one in the future, pick up a Yongnuo for under $100 bucks, they're awesome.

The 2.8 is a tank, but I wish I had that one instead of the F4.

Don't forget to even out the skin tone on her hand - knuckles, veins, etc - for that kind of shot ;) |
Omg I can't believe I missed that! Thank you!

zensation brought over his AR Sunday to get a few pictures taken of it. Really digging the blue receiver, looks pretty cool.

Wow the blue receiver is awesome!
|
That receiver is awesome! Only problem is, if I built something like that I wouldn't want to shoot it!!! Looks to good in pictures! lol
|
I had an AR almost exactly like that, sans the blue obviously, but same grips/stock/sights, had to sell it unfortunately. I loved it, but a neck injury keeps me from being able to really enjoy shooting except pistols. Recoil's a b1tch...

I have a question here. How can I take a proper picture of the light beams like the one in the first picture? I tried on different exposures. But never made it right. I shoot aperture priority @f/1.4 because of the low light condition. Metering set to matrix(Nikon D750). Maybe I should crank up the aperture? But then again, it will make the car looks so dark. I am new to the photography so please bear with me.:tiphat:
