i've always wondered why you would get a prime lens. as far as i'm concerned, it's nice for the lower f-stops you can achieve, and it's a lot lighter than

i've always wondered why you would get a prime lens. as far as i'm concerned, it's nice for the lower f-stops you can achieve, and it's a lot lighter than some of the zoom lenses.
i'm torn on what to get for another lens, both my kit lens and tele-lens crap out at f-stops of around 5.6
