I need to find something he really needs and try to sell it to him. Then just send him an empty box :stirthepot:

JARblue 07-22-2015 01:54 PM

I remember one time I was waiting tables and watched one of my customers walk by another table and snatch a co-worker's tip. I confronted him when he sat back down, simply asking for the money. The guy was a jacka$$ about it so I had the manager throw him out even after he gave the money back.

I can just imagine Scotty's argument here ...

Me: Give the money back.
Scotty: Prove I took it.
Me: I saw you take it.
Scotty: Well it's your word against my documentation. See the money is in my wallet. That proves I didn't do anything wrong.
Me:

Scotty's has a day job as a nurse. He also sports a neck tattoo. Hence, the Nurse Necktat and Necktat Tuesday references.

If he were home care in a stand-your-ground state, I would shoot him as soon as he stepped foot on my property and and then claim it was self defense. I would then hire him to use his patent-pending (I applied for it on his behalf) Scotty-brand legal defense: PROVE IT WASN'T!!

You need this if your kit doesn't include one and you have a 2012 plus 370z and you plan to run the OEM oil cooler and the aftermarket one. If you're gonna remove the OEM oil cooler or have a 09-11 370z you don't need it. I was going to run both but decided not to. Price is free, I don't need it. If you wanna pay $5 for shipping I'll take it.

Apparently free is $5. Who want to pay five bucks for a used bolt :ugh2:

I read that as "Free but I won't turn down a few bucks to help defray shipping costs if you want to donate." But maybe I'm interpreting it wrong.

That is how it was intended to be read. I was a bit overeager and posted in there. He corrected me.

Zbrah 07-22-2015 07:37 PM

It shouldn't cost $5 to ship a single screw. If he wanted someone to pay the shipping he should have just say so lol

meh Even if one has spare packaging laying around, $5 for the time/effort/cost to send anything doesn't sound too bad to me. And it was just a request. I can't fault him for this one. YMMV

With all of the money he's scammed from other people, surely he can afford the $5 for his "time and effort".

Got_Z 08-12-2015 09:37 AM

Ouch. So is PayPal still giving him money back? You have all this proof... ^^

That's messed up. Does Paypal do any sort of investigation, or can you just do a charge back for any reason?

gumi4680 08-12-2015 09:39 AM

I know right! so messed up. I have all the evidence so I uploaded all the screenshot and proof of shipping to paypal just now. Hope this paypal resolve this issue and I HOPE he doesn't get money back fro paypal! No way! I hope all the proof will decline his request of money! And I got charged saying that I have negative balance on my paypal!

Noted and sorry to hear about your inconvenience.

Looks like you have all supporting evidence so pp should be able to put the $ back in your account.

Time for my story.

I posted an wanted ad asking for a few parts and put my phone number up since my pm box fills pretty quickly. A guy texts me from the number 209-207-8905. He has pics of the sideskirt hes trying to sell and seems legit so we work out a deal. I agree that the scrapes on it are ok as long as it isnt cracked or broken.

He tries to send it via greyhound but I asked for fedex/ups/usps instead. Offer to send him payment but he keeps delaying it and telling me to wait till he gets to ship it. Seems fair enough.

Then he tries to tell me shipping is gonna be over $100 for a $70 item and he doesnt want to do it anymore, I gave him an offer of $125 for the whole thing and he accepted it.

Then he sees that I made payment as an item through paypal, aka the secure way, goes off on me for that and claims that im intending to do a chargeback later on. I explain that i dont play games like that, i buy and sell a lot of parts on here and dont care to cheat someone out of a bill. He says it may get damaged during shipping and he will end up getting screwed out of the money.

So the cheat decides to refund my money. I ask him why, and he said that even though he already sent it, he doesnt want to risk a chargeback so he just gave it to me for free. Why would a person who fears I will forcibly get my money back refund the money to combat that??

He says to just give him good rep on the forum and im like ok sure.

Keeps me waiting and waiting and waiting and finally i realized hes playing me and wasting my time. He never had the nerve to tell me his username either.

I have his number: 209-207-8905
Name: Edward brown
two emails: monkeyfist8@gmail.com and edward_brown@my.hnu.edu

After doing some digging, found out his username is Ninjahero

buyer beware. his account page has a comment from someone saying their item was never shipped. hes been inactive for a while but is obviously still here lurking and trying to scam

What I find odd is that he was trying to sell parts off a wrecked z that his insurance payed out. Maybe he didn't realize that if he got paid out, he couldn't take anything from the z lol

11nism0 11-06-2015 11:59 PM

He told me he bought it back for really cheap..
