Is the Civic that good, or is the FRS that bad?

My guess is that the Twins have more work to be done. They should have been able to pull off a one-second win at minimum.
Stock tires on the twins are basically rock-hard Prius tires. They did this to make the car more "fun". (meaning you can break the back end loose without needing a lot of HP)

I have driven these on track. The Twins are really great cars.

Put the same tires on both cars in this test and the BRZ/FRS wins comfortably.

I know why they put Prius tires on the car. Conceptually, I understand why the car will be fun on a track. Any car would be fun on a track with tires like that. As long as you have enough skill to keep the car under control, shytty tires make cars slip and slide better. There's no magic to that. Put those tires on a Z and you will have just as much fun or more because at least the power is there. I give RESPECT to the cars balance and LCOG. But the twins need an overhaul of Quality, features, price tag and power
