I love it. Can't wait to see what the rumored GT350 or Mach1 models will look like.

Pitch 12-05-2013 09:53 AM

I'm trading I'm the '14 without a second thought! Especially with the 5.0 changes! So excited to have a car I love!!lol

Look at the pic of the interior...

Anyone else notice it has red seats? :DDD

Not really impressed with the interior. Guess I'll have to see it in person tho.

Pitch 12-05-2013 10:38 AM

Idk what you guys expected in the interior. ..it's not an audi.

It's 10x better than the rubber a hit that's in it now tho.

Doesn't look much better than the old premium interior IMO, although maybe that's just because they kept the same terrible steering wheel.

7speed 12-05-2013 11:15 AM

Anybody see G37 from this shot?

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/atta...6&d=1386253250

Pitch 12-05-2013 11:23 AM

That may be true. I got base with recaros so I have the rubber ****. Either way it's nicer

All I see in that pic is sex

Good call, that way you have two cars you can't drive through the winter:icon17:

Agree. The angle of that picture definitely makes the front look like the curent G. The rear is odd. It's like they were creating a "flowy" design but then said wait, let's stick the traditional Mustang tails on there. I do like they went lighter, but I don't like how they tried to look more "import". American sports cars are big, chunky cars with huge engines. The gigantic front end seem like they were trying to adhere to this somewhat.

Isamu 12-05-2013 01:14 PM

Dan, I can always mount a snow plow on the front! lol

True! The current gen GT has better ground clearance than the Z so I don't see why it'd be an issue. :D

weight distribution is a challenge on ice, and ground clearance is an issue in places that get real snow.

Winter tires and ~150 lbs in the trunk with get you partway, but past about 6 inches of accumulation you start ripping parts off the car.

kenchan 12-05-2013 02:58 PM

i saw the new vert today on cnn. it actually looked pretty good since the weird roof line was missing. :icon17:

Im no stranger to snow, The Mustang would do just fine in Chicago. Plows are very good in the city and burbs. I could probably drive the Z year round but I hate the salt

Isamu 12-05-2013 04:26 PM

like I said, I can install a plow :P

Roads are very different for mr. Mu in Minot. You can drive anything in Chicago.

Seriously though, it's a sports/muscle car. That's like saying it's terrible off road too.

m4a1mustang 12-05-2013 04:41 PM

Every sports car I own will be driven in snow. So much fun.

Not really. Plenty of sports cars are awesome in the snow, especially the ones with the engine in the back.

I have to argue that a bit. As you get further from the city, the suburbs don't have the man power to clean roads right away. I often found it can take up to 6-8 hours for them to clean side streets. Whats the point of having clean main roads if I can't get out of my driveway (has happened to me). However, that will only happen at most 2-3 times per year. so In general I agree with you

I know Chicago gets pretty rough, but even the suburbs get much better care than the frozen wasteland of ND:icon17:

Disclaimer: I haven't been to minot in years so my knowledge is neither recent nor fresh. I recall it being softpack on many of the roads, contrary to places like MN where you can just drive on hardpack.

FL 4Motion 12-05-2013 10:57 PM

Very excited about the new stang. Makes me wonder how the next camaro will turn out since I'm a bow tie guy at heart.

Pitch 12-05-2013 10:59 PM

Same. I don't think ill wait 2 years to trade in the stang tho. I'm hoping the Z is either garbage or blows the doors off the stang. Cause I don't wanna be up in the air about 2 cars again lol

Currnent z can't blow the doors off the current stang. I don't see the next one hanging with the new stang either.

mick 12-05-2013 11:51 PM

It turns out much better looking than some of the earlier photoshop pictures.

Of course, when the 370 came out in 2009, it blew the stang away. It all depends on development and how far ahead they were.

Yup...do you go for decent looks and great performance ..or great looks and decent performance??

I personally think the new mustang is boring/disappointment. The new WRX was also boring. New camaro is still too big. All this just makes my decision of my next purchase that much easier....so far its either the new Z, slightly used Vette or new mx5 (yet to be released) ??? Decisions, decisions???
