Nissan 370Z Forum

How many are planning to eventually move to a GTR?

I do like the new Roush mustangs though. What's the retail 48k?

Already have money saved for GTR SBD700 kit 3,999! Ill trade in the Z as it will be paid off and ill have a reasonable car payment just like now and can still save for a house and stuff. No kids and im only 24 so. GTR see you soon. And im pretty sure in one or two years a 600 AWHP GTR will still be a top dog car in the streets. Cheers!
It ain't about being a drama queen. I have preferences and so do you. This is a public forum. Deal with it.

or probably make more money than me? I have enough money to finance a 370Z no freaking way i wanted to be stuck with the car. I like to switch it up every 3 years or so.

GTR is for ballers straight up, only car Nissan makes worth keeping.

Cool

I'll get one if the new update consists of a 6MT version, or if the "R36" has the same tranny I want.

Perhaps, but money management helps too.

I've yet to drive a GT-R so I don't know how it feels on a tight windy road, which is where I have most of my fun when I'm at home. My concern about it is weight. And then maintenance, since I've read that regular maintenance is on par with or more than more expensive supercars.

The 911 Turbo would be on my short list for cars to get in the future. I drove one for a couple days over winter and it felt really familiar to the Z as far as how it handled in tighter corners, but felt a lot more connected and was pretty insane in a straight line. The way it felt while near the limits of grip was very pleasurable, as opposed to the E55 AMG I also drove, which felt like a bus in relation. A really fast bus.

But if I never get rich enough to own a 100-150k car, I'd eventually plan to move to a Cayman S. Its previous generation was the car that the Z was going for, and the new generation is a solid improvement (save for the missing hand brake Q_Q). The Evora and 4C are also cars I've been eyeing, since they seem to tick all the right boxes for me.

Love the GTR but probably not. I pretty much always had Nissan 4 drs (Altima, Spec V, Maximas) so when I got the Z I stuck with Nissan since I wanted a sports car.

American muscle (probably a coupe) might be my next move after the Z or I may move on to the German side (probably 4dr or a coupe). Those are the types of cars left on my bucket list lol

maintenance on the GTR is so over rated. yes its a force induction car. but seriously some of the things you can do your self. and on a tight road. can you say grip, grip, grip! your taking corners so fast its scary. the GTR is not a boring car.
