True... most complaints on the Z by domestic lovers is that the seats are way too narrow. lol. I think that's ridiculous. I'm what the medical industry calls normal sized. I find the Z seats to be perfect sports car seat. I love the camaro but the seats leave me with a little play. But they are comfortable as hell. Caddy comfortable. But if you can't fit nicely in Z seats? Stop going through the drive through and consider the produce section of whole foods as the primary source of nourishment.

Just think who makes the Camero. A company who makes cars and trucks for fat people.

It is sad what is "normal", now days.

Dang, I've yet to sit inside a Camaro and already a new refresh. I read and heard about its awful visibility. I guess same could be said about the 370z but when I had the Nismo with the gigantic wing, I was still ok with visibility but I did add those blind spot mirrors to help me out.

I had a 370 nismo and for sure the Camaro has better visibility.

those people who say the Camaro is too big, well I like its big car ride. Very comfortable. I feel i can drive 4 hrs straight without any trouble. If they made it smaller, maybe its performance and handling would improve but it probably it would lose its big car ride.

the 370z isn't exactly small either, didn't nissan say the next Z would be smaller?

This is refresh #2. First in 2012 was a higher quality interior than the 2010-2011 models. The first two model years had hard plastics with no shapes. Now there's shapes and softer touch materials. The performance models get lathered in Alcantara... The gauge area is love it or hate it. I'm indifferent to the gauges. They don't suck but Z gauges look 1,000 times better.

Now the resfresh is external. That said, they've given the V6 a better LFA engine, gave the v8 a better tune. Added two more aggressive models. (SS1LE and ZL1) Have had companies like Hennessey and callaway show a lot of love to the camaro. They're doing big things that way.

It's interesting my neighbor is a self-proclaimed Chevy guy, yet the last two used cars he bought were Ford products. I may be reading into this too much, but he seems to like Ford a lot, too.
I sat inside a 13' Mustang GT Cali.Spec. the other nite. Do you Mustang guys think it's any different /better than the base GT? I like it in Race Red w/ the scoops/splitter/etc... Hot DAMN its sexy!

lol this is a camaro thread

Anyway, briefly, the Cali package is an appearance package more than anything. Custom grille, striping, and a light that projects a Mustang image onto the ground. lol

Anyhow, I love the way that Camaros look. I think they're fun to drive, but feel very "big" and have terrible sight lines and cheap interior. But it seems that they are starting to beat Mustangs around racing circuits, and that's pretty impressive to me.

It's much more visible than the 370 after getting used to them both

I have no problems seeing in the z. Mirrors properly positioned, I can see most of what's happening around me.
In the bulky Camaro, I could not see around that rear 3/4 as well, and that's an enormous area. Now, you have the advantage of having one around to fiddle with, but I feel safer in the Z than the chevy, as far as sight lines, and my Sti beats em both.

I find visibilty about equal but the Z being smaller compensates for the limited visibilty. That said. I still don't have any problems driving the camaro. But the Z overall is a more confident driving car.

My main issue with the Camaro (and most American cars, to be honest), is that the seats are not made for me. Hell, the entire car is not made for me.

I'm a short, skinny guy, and the Camaro just feels like it isn't made for someone of that size at all. The seats are huge, the steering wheel is a giant brick of plastic, everything feels oversized -- it's just... eugh.

I like how it sounds. The power is cool. The 1LE package is awesome.

But the car itself is just... I don't know. Poorly designed, I guess? They certainly sacrificed a lot just for the sake of aesthetics, and that shows if you don't fit perfectly into the Camaro.
