My Z06 weighs under 3200#. The GT500 weighs around 3750.

Try 500# heavier.

Also, my front tires are nearly as wide as its rear tires.

50/50 weight distribution?
It's not even in the ball-park.

Straight-line acceleration is for the drag-strip. I don't care about that any more than I do towing capacity.
