Coupe looks better (bias opinion)
Coupe is lighter
Coupe gets slightly better mileage
Coupe has better aero
Coupe roof wont tare/crack or fade like a soft top
Coupe is cheaper (MSRP wise but you could get a better deal on a roadster because they are harder to move)

Roadster has cooling seats.

Unless your dead set on a convertible, I would go with a coupe.

you pay more for the roadster... That's stupid. Want air in the hair? Take the window down.. -.-

Roadster is quieter. Coupe doesn't have a moonroof option, so roadster is only way to get open sky above you

I love the look of my coupe. There are plenty of summer days where I wish the top was able to retract, but it's offset by what the coupe allows me to do. You won't allowed to have your roadster on any race tracks, so if HPDEs are on your agenda...you need a coupe.

How is the headspace, blind-spots on the coupe vs roadster with the top up. And storage space with the top down. Enough for a suitcase

Is the roadster a lot noisier with the top up. Also heard of some complaints with the mechanicals on the soft top. Is this a big issue

Test drive both of them. That way you get a feel of what you like best.

with the roof up, you can't see a damn thing Storage space doesn't change either way with the roof up or down, but obviously there is less all the time. The storage area is kind of oddly shaped on these cars, for examples sake lets say it's an "8" on the roadster the top half of the 8 is gone and that is where the roof goes. You don't loose have your storage though probably only ~1/3 or so. I haven't had any issues with my roof, I've put mine down almost every day since I've had it. I've seen a few posts on here about problems but it seems the majority is fine.

If your not sure you'll have to drive them both, check out the roof and the mechanics and look for any signs of wear or rubbing. Put it down an make sure it opens and closes evenly and smoothly, etc.

Test drive both, and decide for yourself what best fits your lifestyle?

Bah, the coupe guys are just jealous they bought their coupes before the roadsters came out in 2010. Get the roadster.
