Question for the Mustang owner

Thanks all. You guys are very informative. Another question, this is also my first time owning a soft top convertible. Are they ok to go into car wash? Thanks

The confused looks on SUV drivers stuck in the snow as you drive by in your sports car is worth the $1400 expense.

I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a soft top convertible into a machine wash.

Even better is the looks of the 911 drivers from the side of the road.

That's what I would do. A brushless wash might be OK, but I definitely wouldn't go into a brush wash.

Touchless washes are totally fine.

Brushed washes are rough on the top, just as they are on the paint. There's no reason to subject your paint to that....and the top will survive brushed washes if you put it through in a moment of weakness.

I'm sure everyone likes pictures. Here's some.

Special mention, my beloved audi s4 is also in some of the photos too.

That center graphic really throws me off but otherwise it looks nice. I have never seen an RTR convertible before.
