its not really much more money if you think about it...the nismo or the sport/touring Z msrp is around 40K. you can get a m3 in the 50's plus u can get a 0.9 interest rate which would make the payment maybe 150 or 200 more than the Z.

Over 20 grand doesn't fall into the "much more money" catagory for me!

its not going to up the price significantly, if they did that then they wouldnt be able to sell the car. and if you break the numbers down based on interest rate its not much. the best interest rate u can get for a Z is 3.99 and u can get 0.9 with bmw. the current m3 has a v8 in it im sure that engine isnt cheap, so why would it be a lot more with a 6 cylinder with turbos?

I saw this concept today at the NY auto show and it was fn sweet. Very concept-esk but was pretty darn sexy. I have some pics but it was under lighting that wouldn't let the color come out right but it was the sane deep red as the video.
It easily drew the biggest crowds , they were having "scion dance parties" ( no joke ) around the car and throwing scion beanies out to those dancing. Scion is teyig hard. Def looked really really good though , crazy rear diffuser low low front end , concave wheels but but there's no way the production will look that good. With 90% of it's looks and a proper motor I would think long and hard about it. I'll post the pics soon.

It seems like automakers today can't seem to make a good sports car besides cars such as the z, sti, and genesis. They all seem to suffer in the looks department and power. Automakers make cars that have a little pep above the average car and maybe slightly more stylish and call it their sports car that targets the younger crowd when its really a pos in comparison to the sports cars they used to make like in the 90's (supra,300zx,rx7,3000gt).

How old were you when it was in the 90s? The Supra/300ZX/RX-7/3000GT were at least $30K in the early 90s, some climbed to the 40s and 50s. They all died because they were overpriced and they couldn't sell any. If the 370Z was another $10K more expensive, there would be a lot less people driving it.
